A long time podcast listener and video game addict. After trying to be a blogger, David decided that he was much better at talking than writing, and so decided to deliver the content of his blog via audio content. He still wants to be a writer more than he wants to be a radio personality, but since his time and energy are both limited, and there are so damn many video games to play, he’s delivering all the content from his brain in the fastest way he can. Jenn

David’s reluctant girlfriend, keeper, and life partner. As if she doesn’t have her hands full enough trying to keep him on the straight and narrow, now she’s been shanghaied into being an often reluctant co-host to a show whose very title mocks her efforts in life. Despite all that, she often sits in the producers chair, and is involved in the show both on and off mic. If it wasn’t for her, there wouldn’t be a show! (Especially since she paid for the equipment.) She's in constant need of validation, so drop her an email at jenn@betterthanjenn.com!

The Show

Born of a faltering blog, the name is based on an inside joke between David and Jenn, and serves as a constant reminder to David’s misogynistic views. The irony of it is that Jenn is better at most of the behind the scenes stuff, but David will never admit that on air. Since he has the more dynamic personality of the two, it may never get acknowledged or recognized. Regardless, the show will go on. Originally meant to be a “gaming” podcast, it was soon decided that a broader audience could be reached if the show tackled a broader range of topics, while still having a hearty dose of game content within. We think a balance has been struck, and since the feedback has been mostly positive, we’re going to keep doing what we do!

The Blog

Still limping along, David continues to blog about things that don’t make it on the show, add commentary to shows and share his innermost secrets. If you love the show, but have questions about content, or just want more content, check it out. Jenn may even post there occasionally too! And I can’t make any promises, but I have it on good authority that embarrassing pictures will be put up there.
